New ad deal rolls out for Saint John buses

SaintJohnTransitPattison Outdoor Advertising has been awarded the rights to sell space on and inside Saint John Transit’s fleet of 55 buses in Saint John, N.B.

The new five-year contract came into effect on January 2, 2012, and includes two additional two-year renewal options. It covers all of the buses’ out-of-home (OOH) advertising opportunities, including side-mounted ‘king’ posters, interior cards, extensions, headliners, murals, rear-mounted posters and full wraps. Saint John’s is the largest public transit system in New Brunswick, serving a ridership of 2.7 million passengers per year.

With this addition, Pattison’s transit portfolio now includes 21 markets across Canada, including two others in the Maritimes: Moncton, N.B., and Halifax.

“We are thrilled to be working with Saint John Transit,” says Sherry Kirwin, Pattison Outdoor’s general manager for the Atlantic provinces. “We look forward to providing a one-stop shop in the Maritime region for all of our clients’ outdoor advertising needs, whether they are booking horizontal posters, exterior billboards or transit shelter ads.”

Pattison also represents transit advertising in Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ottawa.
