Titan Canada has upgraded its large-scale digital signage overlooking Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square, using the Audience software platform developed by Capital Networks in nearby Markham, Ont.
Titan took over management of out-of-home (OOH) advertising for the multipurpose complex at 10 Dundas Street East from Clear Channel Outdoor Canada in August 2012. The company is now using Audience 4.2 to create, control, distribute and display content on both indoor and outdoor screens, including live streaming video of special events.
The venue’s digital signage network includes a 223-m2 (2,400-sf) curved video screen with 34 surrounding digital ‘tiles’ and 20 smaller displays, including liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and light-emitting diode (LED) screens. More than 860,00 people pass through the area every day, making it one of Canada’s busiest intersections.
