3M Canada recently launched Controltac Print Film 40C for screenprinting and digital inkjet printing with solvent-based, ultraviolet-curable (UV-curable) and durable aqueous ‘latex’ inks.
The intermediate vinyl film, available in matte or gloss finish, provides advanced repositionability with air release technology for a quick, time-saving application. It is 0.081 mm (3 mils) thick without adhesive and 0.1 mm (4 mils) thick when combined with 3M’s pressure-activated ‘comply’ adhesive. This film covers a variety of applications including signs, walls, windows, floors, partial vehicle wraps, trucks and more.
The new film is designed to last up to seven years in most indoor and outdoor applications and three months for floor graphics. It is removable at end of use.
