Astral Out-of-Home has expanded its advertising network at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport with the addition of 80 vertically oriented digital signs.
The 1-m (40-in.) portrait-mode panels, now referred to as AeroVertical digital faces, were previously installed by Bell Canada throughout the airport, in both pre- and post-security zones. Astral, meanwhile, had installed 100 landscape-mode screens in various arrivals and departures areas. The two networks are now one and the same, with respect to selling out-of-home (OOH) ad space.
“This addition consolidates our digital advertising offering at Montreal-Trudeau Airport,” says Luc Quétel, vice-president (VP) of real estate services for Astral Out-of-Home. More than 12 million passengers reportedly pass through the airport each year.
Installed primarily in the domestic terminal, the AeroVertical screens run a 90-second loop of content, including 15-second spots from a maximum of six advertisers. Astral programs and manages the content remotely from its Montreal control and broadcast centre.
