Montreal-based digital signage software developer X2O Media has been honoured for the innovation behind its Remote Video Expert interactive application, which adds video conferencing capabilities to touch screens.
Readers of Sound and Video Contractor magazine selected Remote Video Expert as one of 2013’s most innovative products, earning it an award. Designed for retail, banking and health-care environments, the application allows users to participate in real-time video conferencing with customer service agents via touch-screen displays. In more consultative settings and paired with a second touch screen, it can also let the customer service agents share files and product specifications.
