Inca and Fujifilm announce 2014 IDEA winners

Electroprint (2)Flatbed inkjet printer manufacturer Inca Digital and its international distributor, Fujifilm, recently announced the winners of the 2014 Inca Digital Excellence Awards (IDEAs), which celebrate creative printed applications.

Each category winner received a trip to the Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) Digital trade show in Munich, Germany, to accept a trophy. The following were this year’s recipients from around the world, listed by category:

  • Display graphics—Electroprint, Morocco, for medieval fortified city exhibition booth (pictured, above).
  • Interactive display—Smurfit Kappa Display, Ireland, for Absolut Butik display unit.
  • Product decoration and unique designs—Artwork Digital, Brazil, for storage boxes and school costumes (pictured, below left).
  • Special award for creativity—Color Ink, U.S., for Century 21 replica Winter Olympics bobsled (pictured, below right).
  • Three-dimensional (3-D) point-of-sale (POS)—Kolorcraft, U.K., for the New Look Spring 2013 Window Scheme graphic display.

“This is the third IDEA program and we are delighted by the number of entries that demonstrated the considerable potential of digital printing,” says Heather Kendle, Inca’s director of marketing and product management.
