New book celebrates projection mapping around the world

ParliamentHillCentreBlock Christie, which develops projectors and digital signage ‘cubes’ in Kitchener, Ont., has published The Book of Transformations, celebrating the use of projection display technology to visually transform familiar structures and objects around the world.

Written by Dave Haynes, a digital signage consultant based in Burlington, Ont., the book showcases more than 70 projection-mapping projects that have used Christie projectors and complementary technologies, including Montreal-based Moment Factory’s ‘Mosaika’ imagery on Parliament Hill’s Centre Block in Ottawa (pictured above).

The book is available for free as a downloadable app or Portable Document Format (PDF) file and can be purchased as a limited-edition hard-copy ‘coffee table book.’ For more details, visit www.christiedigital.com.
