RMG Networks, which operates location-based digital signage around the world, has hired former Microsoft general manager (GM) of advertising Scott Pawloski as chief revenue officer (CRO) for media networks, reporting to interim president and CEO Robert Michelson.
In his new role, Pawloski will oversee video ad sales for a business unit representing more than 200,000 screens, which reach more than 100 million consumers each month. These include digital signs in airport lounges, shopping malls, business centres and restaurants, among other locations.
“The digital advertising market has aggressively shifted to video over the past couple of years,” he says. “I am excited to help more companies discover this asset to build their brands and reach their target audiences.”
