Pattison Onestop, which operates indoor networks of digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising screens across Canada, is going greener by sourcing clean, renewable electricity through Bullfrog Power.

Under the agreement, Bullfrog’s generators will add electricity to the grid to match the amounts used by Pattison’s major networks, which include digital signs in elevators (example pictured), public transit stations, shopping malls, office buildings and residential condominium lobbies. Bullfrog’s electricity comes exclusively from wind and hydroelectric facilities certified as low-impact by Environment Canada under the EcoLogo program.

“Pattison is both reducing its emissions footprint and supporting the local and community-based renewable energy projects across Canada,” says Anthony Santilli, Bullfrog’s vice-president (VP) of sales and marketing. “This is an important way to educate the public about climate change and the actions they too can take to reduce their environmental impact.”
