Wide-format printer manufacturer Durst Phototechnik has hired Larry D’Amico as director of sales for North America, with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of sales of its Rho, Rhotex and Alpha machines in Canada and the U.S.
D’Amico has more than 20 years’ experience in the wide-format printing industry, most recently as vice-president (VP) of digital imaging for Agfa Graphics, where he led the company’s North American equipment business.
“With his background, knowledge, talent and customer focus, we’re pleased Larry has joined our organization,” says Tim Saur, Durst’s CEO for North America. “He will first focus on the Rho and Alpha product lines, then expand his scope of responsibility to additional market segments.”
