Jim Miller, owner of Miller Decals in Acworth, Ga., won the title of World Wrap Master at last month’s Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) Digital trade show in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Sponsored by Avery Dennison and Mimaki, the graphic wrapping competition included a European leg on March 8 and 9, followed by a ‘final battle’ on March 10 and 11. Participants wrapped an Audi A1 Sportback (pictured with Miller), clogs and superhero-themed items. Miller won the top prize of €2,500, followed by South Africa’s Ruan Greeff in second place with €1,250 and England’s Michael Szwacki in third with €750.
“The calibre of entrants was very high, but there could be only one ‘wrap superhero’ and Jim’s technical abilities shone through,” says Duncan MacOwen, FESPA’s head of events.
