Vision Print, a sign shop in Mississauga, Ont., recently installed a 1.7-m (65-in.) wide Electronics for Imaging (EFI) H1625 light-emitting diode (LED) ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) ‘hybrid’ inkjet printer.
Vision Print produces a broad range of applications, including window and wall graphics, corrugated plastic signs, pull-up vinyl banners, acrylic signs, backlit posters, A-frame signs, canvas art and box signs, along with small-format output like business cards, flyers, brochures and postcards.
The H1625 LED is a four-colour (plus white) mid-level production printer designed to print on rigid and flexible materials up to 51 mm (2 in.) thick. In ‘express mode,’ it can reportedly print up to 42.3 m2 (458 sf) per hour.
