Xaar, which manufactures piezoelectric drop-on-demand inkjet printheads, won a Design & Innovation Award—and was a finalist for a People & Skills Award—at the recent annual Manufacturer MX Awards ceremony.

Organized by the Hennik Group in association with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), the awards recognize the best-performing businesses in manufacturing. The judging process for the 2016 program involved more than 30 experts, desk-based reviews, factory site visits and interviews.
