NanoLumens, which manufactures light-emitting diode (LED) displays in a variety of sizes, shapes and curvatures, has appointed Matt Nurre vice-president (VP) of global retail sales to lead its channel development programs.
Nurre was previously president of Retail Design Source (RDS), a consultancy focused on fixtures, visual merchandising, interactive displays, marketing and product engineering. As such, he has advocated for the use of themed visual displays to help revitalize bricks-and-mortar stores.
“Visualization technologies are defining retailers’ brands for 21st-century consumers,” he says. “By combining content and space in unique ways, retailers are designing immersive customer experiences that generate higher sales and increase the likelihood of repeat visits.”
