The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), which develops test methods and educational materials for textile printing professionals around the world, has hired Brian C. Francois as its new executive vice-president (EVP).
Francois succeeds Jack Daniels, who is retiring this spring. He plans to meet AATCC members at the association’s international conference in March before officially starting the position in April.
An active member of AATCC for more than 25 years, Francois joined Pulcra Chemicals Group (formerly known as Henkel Textile Technology and Cognis) in 1992 as senior sales representative and was promoted to more senior roles over the years, becoming global CEO in 2014.
