As part of its ‘signs of support’ program, a FastSigns International franchise in Newmarket, Ont., recently helped the local Margaret Bahen Hospice by donating signs and graphics for a fundraising event.
For the Hike for Hospice fundraiser, the franchise’s team digitally printed a 0.9 x 1.8-m (3 x 6-ft) event banner and used foam core and vinyl graphics to create cut-out ‘selfie frame’ signs for photo ops (both pictured with hospice staff).
“Owning a sign business puts us in a unique position to help non-profit and community organizations with their marketing, event and branding needs,” says Fenol Saintus, who opened the franchise with his wife, Lauret Matadi, in May 2017. “We love giving back in any way we can, whether through signage donations, sponsorships or volunteering.”
