Browser-based software developer Visix has won a Best of Digital Signage Expo (DSE) 2018 Award for its RoomBoard information system, which was exhibited earlier this year at DSE in Las Vegas, Nev.
The room management software (sample application pictured) pulls schedules from electronic calendars and combines them with wayfinding maps of campuses and buildings, making room availability recognizable at a glance, with green indicating ‘open’ and red meaning ‘busy.’ Interface designs are customizable to match clients’ branding and can include full kiosk support for on-site booking.
“Room management is one of the top topics for businesses today,” says Trey Hicks, Visix’s chief sales officer (CSO). “Integrating it with digital signage and interactive wayfinding can provide instant efficiency and convenience.”
