Bourquin Printers & Signs in Abbotsford, B.C., has added its second Mimaki JFX200-2513 ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) light-emitting diode (LED) flatbed printer, supplied by Focus Pre-Press Systems of Surrey, B.C.
Owner Jake Sidhu (pictured) founded Bourquin as a printing company in 1998 and added a sign shop soon thereafter. He moved the business to its current location in 2007 and acquired a trophy and award supplier in the same building in 2008.
Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, Bourquin designs and produces vinyl banners, window decals, pylon signs, sandwich boards, lightboxes, vehicle wraps and real estate signs. The Mimaki installation is the 10th for Focus Pre-Press in the past two years.
