Last month’s Federation of European Screen Printers Associations (FESPA) Global Print Expo in Berlin, Germany, set new records for international attendance, with more than 20,000 individual visitors arriving from 142 countries.
Following a shift in 2017 to an annual event cycle and an amalgamation with the ‘spinoff’ FESPA Digital show, this year’s expo—collocated with the European Sign Expo—attracted 20,442 visitors, the largest number ever for a four-day FESPA show. Counting repeat visitors, attendance totalled 33,799.
“This event absolutely surpassed our expectations,” says Roz Guarnori, FESPA’s exhibitions director. “It reinforces how specialty printing and signage are sectors that never stop inventing, pushing boundaries and looking for new ways to achieve growth.”
