Digital signage hardware, software and network service provider Stratacache has appointed Mark Mayfield vice-president (VP) of its newly formed transportation division, which will serve the airport, airline and ground transportation markets.
Mayfield spent 14 years with Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques (SITA), an information technology (IT) firm for the airport industry, where he led sales and marketing efforts for flight information display systems (FIDSs) and public address systems.
“The experience Mark brings to the digital signage industry will help us provide the same service to transportation as we do to retail,” says Chris Riegel, Stratacache’s CEO. “Mark’s team will help clients streamline their operations, improve efficiency and better serve travellers.”
