TPH praised for environmental leadership

The Printing House (TPH), which specializes in short-run, on-demand production of signs, banners, and other graphics at more than 70 locations across Canada, has been named North America’s most forest-friendly printer by Canopy, a global environmental not-for-profit.

TPH topped the group’s Blueline Ranking of the sustainability performance of the continent’s largest printers. The company was praised for a variety of sustainability initiatives, including the use of environmentally certified paper and the offering of a print technology that consumes ink at a much lower level.

“We are proud to reach number one on the Blueline Ranking, but we’re not done yet,” said Andrew O’Born, vice-president of business development. “We remain dedicated to raising the bar for environmental stewardship and challenge our industry partners to step up their own earth-friendly initiatives.”
