The International Sign Association (ISA) has announced its board of directors for 2019.

The new board represents the breadth of the sign, graphics, and visual communications industry and will guide ISA’s programs throughout the year, including marking the association’s 75th anniversary.

“The sign, graphics, and visual communications are diverse in terms of the company size, products, and geography,” said Lori Anderson. “It can be a tall order to ensure ISA’s direction meets the needs of such a varied membership which is why I am pleased the 2019 board of directors understands the various challenges of those who focus on print, architectural, or digital signs and whose businesses handle multiple types of signs. It will serve ISA and, by extension, the industry well in the coming year.”

The executive committee comprises: Michael Quigley, chairman (vice-president, Sign-Age of Tampa Bay Inc., Clearwater, Fla.); Ken VanHorn, vice-chairman (vice-president, marketing and operations, Mimaki USA Inc., Suwanee, Ga.); John Yarger, secretary and treasurer (president and CEO, North American Signs Inc., South Bend, Ind.); Mark Granberry, past chairman (president and owner, Graphic Solutions Group Inc., Dallas, Tex.).

The 2019 ISA board of directors include: Nicole Bergstrom (president of SmithCraft Custom Architectural Signs, Phoenix, Ariz.); Jeff Croskey (chief commercial officer of LSI Industries Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio); Ken Hanulec (vice-president of marketing, EFI, Londonderry, N.H.); Deborah Hutcheson (director of marketing, Agfa Corp., Elmwood Park, N.J.); Ian Kalverda (regional manager for Canada, EM Plastic & Electric Products, Cambridge, Ont.); Richard Poyant (president of Poyant, New Bedford, Mass.); Carlos Salinas (president and CEO of Envisage Signs, Anaheim, Calif.); Judy Walton (senior tenant sign manager of Simon, Laguna Hills, Calif.); Mandy Wisner (vice-president of Southern Signs Inc., Natchez, Miss.); Adam Yorston (manufacturers’ representative and consultant, Yorston & Associates, Hellertown, Pa.); Ben Ziglin (president of Ziglin Signs, Washington, Mo.)
