GMG Americas has signed an agreement with Access, an information technology (IT) solutions provider headquartered in Toronto, as its Canada-wide products reseller.
The company will now focus its efforts on GMG’s colour management solutions as well as the PrintFactory workflow.
Access has provided IT solutions to large-format digital print service providers, commercial printers, quick copy shops, screen printers, sign shops, fine art reproduction bureaus, reprographic houses, and large-format print franchises across Canada for more than 25 years. The company’s success and growth can be attributed to both a consultative and problem-solving approach towards clients supported by a strong technical services team. Its factory-trained specialists recommend equipment and supplies that allow customers to produce quality, cost-effective output. They help maximize equipment performance to increase profitability and provide expertise in all print issues from colour and file management to choosing the right media.
“We look forward to providing GMG’s full range of colour management products throughout Canada,” said Access group president John Visentin. “We hope to show the value of their ColourServer, ColourProof, and OpenColour to a wide range of users—from ad agencies to digital, offset, and wide-format printers. And, as an Epson partner, we see tremendous opportunity pairing their printers with our solutions to produce accurate proofs and prototypes.
“We look forward to a strong partnership with Access,” said GMG’s sales vice-president Paulo Monteiro. “They have extensive experience in the Canadian market and should help to build on our company’s visibility and colour management reputation there. They have helped customers build complete systems with PrintFactory and GMG ColourServer. They can also provide answers to specific colour management issues with other solutions.”
