Sign Media Canada, together with the Sign Association of Canada (SAC-ACE), will honour the outstanding work of signmakers across the country during a virtual night at the Best of Canada’s Sign Industry Awards (BOCSIes).
Sign Media Canada and the Sign Association of Canada (SAC-ACE) would like to thank everyone who entered the Best of Canada’s Sign Industry Awards (BOCSIes).
Response to the competition has once again been outstanding, with entries pouring in from across the country. Our judges now have the challenging task of reviewing all of your projects to determine the various category winners, as well as the coveted ‘Best in Show,’ the entry with the highest overall score.
This year’s awards will be presented at a virtual gala hosted by Sign Media Canada and SAC-ACE on Friday, Sept. 25, at 7 p.m. EDT. In addition to announcing the BOCSI winners, SAC will also present its industry awards for the Sign Professional of the Year, Young Professional of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year.
The sponsors for this year’s BOCSIes include:
- Channelume/Let-R-Edge (Fascia Signs/Channel Letters);
- Gemini (Building Signage and Historic Signage);
- HP Inc. (Display Graphics);
- Libertevision (Digital Signage);
- Multicam (Sign Company of the Year [SCOTY]);
- Orafol (Vehicle Graphics);
- Roland (prize sponsor); and
- SloanLED (Illuminated Signage).

As a bonus, to ensure our industry gets a chance to learn about some of the latest technologies and products on the market, Sign Media Canada and our BOCSI sponsors, will be hosting virtual demonstrations from 3 to 5 p.m. EDT.
HP will be conducting a live demo of the HP STITCH S1000 printer. Attendees will also get a chance to meet the brand’s experts to find out how HP can help them unlock opportunities while increasing profitability by saying ‘yes’ to any job.
SloanLED, a global leader in the development and application of light-emitting diode (LED) lighting, will showcase its LED signage solutions.
Owning an outdoor digital sign is great, but knowing how to use it and having the tools to use it efficiently is even better. Libertevision will demonstrate how its software works and what it can offer customers.
Join Multicam as they demo their APEX1R and APEX3R computer numerical control (CNC) routers.
Let-R-Edge will demonstrate how its labour-savings and low-cost equipment easily surpasses any believed benefits of working with a cheaper alternative.
All the demonstrations are free to attend and open to anyone in the industry. To register for the virtual demonstrations, click here.
