Exponation LLC, the live event company that produced Digital Signage Expo (DSE), has fallen victim to the impact of COVID-19 and has entered bankruptcy proceedings.
According to an official statement by Geri Wolff, president and CEO of Market Works International, Exponation has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and is liquidating all assets and permanently closing the company. The process is now in the hands of trustees.
Creditors of Exponation LLC will be notified by the bankruptcy court via U.S. Mail shortly, with instructions about filing a claim against Exponation’s limited remaining assets.
Back in March, DSE 2020, which was originally scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center between March 31 and April 3, had been postponed and rescheduled for late summer/early fall due to the escalation of travel bans and COVID-19 cases.
