Spicers Canada has several operational investments for 2021 including the completion of a new distribution centre in Anjou, QC and the announcement of a expanded demo/technology centre, equipment service department, and resource centre in Vaughan, Ont.
Spicers Canada has announced several key operational investments to enhance available resources for customers in multiple markets.
In June, Spicers will complete the construction of a new facility to serve the Montreal market. The newly built 7432 m2 (80,000 sf) distribution centrelocated in Anjou, QC will replace the company’s previous location.
Additionally, Spicers announced later this year its current All Graphic Supplies division currently based in Mississauga, Ont. will be integrated into its Vaughan, Ont. location. In conjunction with this move, a significantly expanded demo/technology centre, equipment service department, and resource centre will be constructed.
The expansion of demo centre capabilities add to similar initiatives underway in both Calgary and Edmonton. In Spicers locations in Quebec City and Vancouver, new onsite ink mixing facilities, supplied exclusively through Huber, have been completed and are available immediately to customers in Quebec and Western Canada respectively.
Later this year, construction will begin on a newly built facility in Regina, Sask. that will combine currently independent operations for Spicers and its Shippers Supply division. It is expected that this new facility will be fully operational in Q1 2022.

Earlier this year it was announced that effective July 1, 2021, all Canadian operations including Shippers Supply and All Graphic Supplies, would be combined into operation under the single Spicers brand.
