The city of Moose Jaw, Sask., is asking for assistance from the public after a number of street signs were vandalized, and some were later stolen.

On Dec. 26, a notification came through from the request for service (RFS) function on the City of Moose Jaw app. It contained information regarding the street signs, which appeared to be from the northwest area of the city. They were all found scattered in Elks Athletic Field.

However, after the city sent crews to retrieve the signs, it was discovered that only two of about 15 of them were still present at the scene.

Anyone who has information on the vandalism, theft, or location of the missing signs is encouraged to call the Moose Jaw Police Service as soon as possible.
