Bracebridge, Ont., is set to replace its Heritage Walking Trail signage. Removal work began on October 30 in preparation for new installations next summer. Worn and damaged from years of exposure, the current signs—spread across the downtown area, waterfront, and historic sites—will be replaced by updated designs as part of the Town’s 150th anniversary legacy projects.
The Heritage Walking Trail, established in 1981, guides visitors through 12 historically significant locations, including landmarks around the Muskoka River and the Woodchester octagonal home. The new signage will continue to display historical photos and descriptions, celebrating Bracebridge’s heritage while enhancing the trail’s visitor experience.
Further details on the trail’s relaunch and revitalization will be shared in 2025.
