PATTISON Outdoor Advertising has extended the application deadline for its Elevating Voices Media Grant to 5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 28, 2025. Now in its third year, this initiative aims to amplify marginalized voices and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across Canada through a total of $1,000,000 in media value.
The grant program, spearheaded by PATTISON’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, supports not-for-profit and charitable organizations focused on underserved communities, including ethnocultural groups, Indigenous peoples, 2SLGBTQ+, women’s equality, and persons with disabilities. The extension allows more organizations to apply for funding and share their messages through out-of-home advertising.
Seven grants are available: one national grant valued at up to $400,000 and six regional grants of up to $100,000 each. Recipients will use PATTISON’s extensive media assets, which include billboards, digital displays, and transit advertising, to execute campaigns between March 3 and December 31, 2025.
“By providing this extension, we hope to encourage even more organizations to take advantage of this opportunity to bring important and often underrepresented narratives to the forefront,” said the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
The grant supports various initiatives, including educational programs, cultural and art promotions, social justice messaging, and services for vulnerable populations. Applicants must be registered not-for-profits or charities with a demonstrated ability to cover production costs for printed materials, as these are not included in the grant.
Applications require a comprehensive proposal outlining objectives, intended impact, and a detailed budget. In a virtual interview, shortlisted candidates will present their projects to the selection committee.
Previous recipients include national partners such as Artists Against Racism and the Jays Care Foundation and regional organizations such as the Maskwacis Tribal Council.
Interested organizations are encouraged to submit their applications promptly for this extended deadline.
