- Semiconductor designer Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has entered a global distribution agreement with Symmetry Electronics, which sells embedded computers for digital signage and other applications. Symmetry is also stocking embedded graphics cards from TUL, which uses AMD’s Radeon technology.
- New Canadian members of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) include Beyond Digital Imaging in Markham, Ont., and Ryerson University’s school of graphic communications management (GCM) in Toronto.
