Halifax-based marketing agency Haystacks Media Production has installed a 3000-series computer numerical control (CNC) router from MultiCam Canada to enhance its in-house workflow capabilities.
The company specializes in graphic design, research, project management and point-of-purchase (POP) display production. By adding CNC routing and knife-based cutting, Haystacks can progress from pre-printing through to digitally finishing graphics on a wide variety of substrates.
The MultiCam 3000-series router can handle a range of medium-duty panel processing applications through a user-friendly EZ Control operator interface. Its rigid, all-heavy-steel gusseted plate frame construction, along with an all-steel moving-gantry design, enables the machining of relatively large parts, despite the system’s small footprint. It supports 12 MB of data memory, with unlimited file size transfer capabilities, and automatically calibrates CNC tools.
