Brooklin Bulletin Signs in Whitby, Ont., has installed a Designjet L26500 industrial printer from HP Canada to help increase its revenue streams while also focusing on environmental sustainability.
The print service provider (PSP) has operated for more than 50 years, serving a diverse range of clients.
“We have a wide customer base, including hockey arenas, hospitals, businesses and municipal governments,” says Brian Wick, president. “They all have different needs, from in-store advertising to outdoor posters. And regardless of their industry, all of our customers demand high-resolution, durable prints.”
The Brooklin Bulletin Signs team saw the L26500 in operation at a trade show and chose to acquire it shortly thereafter.
“We were excited about its durable aqueous ‘latex’ inks, because the water-based formula reduces printing’s impact on the environment, without compromising quality, durability and colour vibrancy,” says Keith Wick, operations manager.
“We recycle approximately 90 per cent of everything we do,” says Brian. “When our customers are finished with their prints or signs, we take them back and recycle them, ensuring the least amount of environmental impact possible.”
