Based in London, Ont., Bolt Signs has installed a Designjet L26500 printer from HP Canada to help shorten its turnaround times.
Operating since 1995, the full-production large-format sign shop chose the L26500 for its efficiency and ease of use, as well as its environmentally friendlier durable aqueous ‘latex’ inks.
“The machine’s performance is second to none,” says John Carolino, owner. “Prints are dry as soon as they’re produced, so we’re able to finish or use them immediately. We were concerned with exhaust fumes, but the latex technology allows our team to work within a safe environment. The inks produce extremely low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). There is no special ventilation required. Overall, this technology has improved our facility’s printing environment.”
Bolt Signs specializes in the production of indoor signage, vehicle wraps and other mobile graphics for a wide range of customers in commercial and manufacturing industries, among others. It operates two locations in London.
