Graphics for a good cause

P1010846 - CopyP1010859 - CopyAmpco Grafix in Coquitlam, B.C., has entered a partnership to help fund the printing of large-format graphics and to support additional services for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF) in Vancouver. To date, the new agreement has seen Ampco provide event banners and mural graphics for walls and elevator doors (examples pictured).

“Through corporate and employee donations, Ampco has already been a loyal supporter of the province’s ill and injured kids for nearly 25 years,” explains Aaron Sanderson, BCCHF’s philanthropy officer. “The new commitment as environmental print partner reflects their continued dedication to the cause and we are honoured to extend our partnership with this sponsorship.”

BCCHF is currently trying to raise $200 million for renovations and construction to accommodate more patients and equipment. In early June, the hospital’s Miracle Weekend fundraising drive was televised by Global BC, during which Ampco made its latest donation and provided related wide-format graphics. Future plans include the extensive use of fleet graphics and building hoardings.

“The Miracle Weekend was just one of the projects we will help fund,” says Jane Rogers, marketing support specialist for Ampco.
