DSE 2013 adds Content University

The 2013 Digital Signage Expo (DSE) will present a new Content University seminar program and a ‘hands-on’ workshop to help digital signage network managers and operators develop and improve their on-screen content strategies.

The half-day workshop will take place on February 26, 2013, and the new seminars will be presented on February 27 and 28, 2013, as part of DSE’s eight-track educational conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

The workshop will feature ideas for retail, restaurants, health care, education and corporate communications from content creators, users and network operators. Then, Content University will cover the following topics:

  • The importance of developing a digital signage content strategy.
  • How to identify and plan for content-related costs.
  • What makes content effective.
  • Tips and best practices.

“The Content University curriculum and the workshop are designed to help attendees develop a realistic strategy to create, source and manage messaging that is most relevant to their audiences,” says Richard Lebovitz, educational director for Exponation, which produces DSE each year.
