Angelo Kosmidis, a veteran of the Canadian digital signage industry, has been appointed director of business development for digital signage software developer Capital Networks, based in Markham, Ont. Kosmidis joins the company from Sharp’s Audio Visual, also based in Markham, where he served as director of digital signage. Before that position, he was a territory sales manager for Omnivex, another digital signage software developer in Concord, Ont. “We’re very pleased to welcome Angelo to the Capital Networks family,” says Jim Vair, vice-president (VP) of business development. “His experience in the industry brings a level of expertise to our team that will strengthen our commitment to providing outstanding service to our customers.” In his new role, Kosmidis is responsible for developing accounts, managing ongoing customer relationships and engaging with Capital’s global reseller and partner program.
