Event organizer Exponation reports its ninth annual Digital Signage Expo (DSE), which took place last month in Las Vegas, Nev., was the largest and most successful yet. The conference and trade show drew 4,024 qualified attendees—including digital signage users, system integrators, advertisers and marketers—and 1,576 exhibiting attendees, an increase of nine per cent over 2011’s turnout. International attendance was particularly high, growing by 25 per cent over 2011 and making up 21.4 per cent of total attendance. The show saw visitors from 69 countries. The show floor, meanwhile, grew by four per cent this year, with Exponation selling 5,801 m2 (62,440 sf) of exhibit space. “We are strongly encouraged by last month’s strong attendance and the bright future it represents for our industry,” says Chris Gibbs, president of Exponation. “We are planning DSE 2013, which will be our 10th anniversary show, and look forward to making it even more effective for our attendees and exhibitors.”
