The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) has opened its 2012 Vehicle Graphics Design Awards Competition, co-sponsored by 3M Canada’s commercial graphics division.
The competition is open to all Canadian truck fleet operators—private or for-hire—and the graphic design companies that visually enhance their vehicles. Awards are presented in seven categories: tractor trailer combination, straight truck, special events/promotions, nighttime safety, light-duty commercial truck, human interest and fleet identity graphics.
“Vehicle graphics not only promote products and services, but also deliver a positive image of the trucking community,” says Bruce Richards, PMTC president.
The entry deadline is April 30. The awards will be presented during PMTC’s annual conference, which this year will take place on June 20 and 21 at Kingbridge Conference Centre and Institute in King City, Ont.
Rules and entry forms are available at www.pmtc.ca.
