Charlottetown-based ScreenScape Networks has partnered with Aspen Skiing to develop a new place-based digital signage network for the Aspen/Snowmass resort in Colorado, using a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.
Aspen/Snowmass operates skiing facilities across four mountains, as well as ski and snowboard schools. The digital signage network will display promotional messages, news, weather and other information across these locations.
“We made this decision because we wanted to speak more effectively to our customers in the right place and at the right time,” says Jeff Hanle, the resort operator’s director of public relations (PR). “The software allows for timely and easy co-ordination of messaging at our organization’s many sites.”
ScreenScape’s ‘community-based’ digital signage platform has already been deployed by Canadian ski resorts and recreational facilities, including White Oaks Resort in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ont., and Craigleith Ski Club in Blue Mountains, Ont.
