  • HP has introduced two new online educational initiatives. The first, HP Latex University (www.hp.com/go/hplatexuniversity), provides training for print-service providers (PSPs) to produce indoor and outdoor wide-format graphics, including free application workshops and ‘webinars’ on topics like vehicle wraps and fabric graphics. The second initiative is the Ecosolutions Trained Printing Company program (www.hp.com/ecosolutions/tpc), a series of downloadable resources to certify PSPs’ commitment to environmental sustainability through ‘green printing’ applications (examples pictured).
  • Inkjet printer/cutter vendor Roland DGA redesigned its website (www.rolanddga.com) with an updated navigational layout, to make it easier for visitors to access support resources, product information and the company’s online store. Roland also now offers free downloadable cyan, magenta, yellow and key/black (CMYK), metallic and vector images from iSignStock.com, with a new set debuting each week.
  • Aerial work platform and truck-mounted crane manufacturer Elliott Equipment has updated its website (www.elliottequip.com) with a new section for used equipment, a more user-friendly dealer locator, metric data translations, a revised inquiry submission form and a new equipment gallery.
  • Pressure-sensitive film manufacturer Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Solutions has introduced a new blog, AveryRollPlay (www.averyrollplay.com), as an interactive opportunity for the graphics printing community to connect, share their stories and learn from experts contributing application ideas, installation tips and tricks.
  • General LED, which applies light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to commercial signage, architectural lighting and microelectronic product markets, has renovated its websites—including www.generalled.com, www.agilight.com and www.genledlighting.com—to provide consistency across its divisions.
  • Software developer Delcam has launched a dedicated website (www.artcam.com) for its ArtCam family of computer-aided design/manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technologies. Visitors can learn about signmaking and other applications and download free trial versions of the software to test on their own designs.
  • InteliCoat Technologies, which manufactures coated papers, films and specialty substrates for digital printing, has extended its sales channels with a new e-commerce site (www.buyintelicoat.com) featuring its most popular products.
