Artcal Graphics in London, Ont., recently installed an Epson Stylus Pro GS2000 wide-format printer and Mimaki JF-1361 flatbed printer.

The Stylus Pro’s increase speed over previous models will help improve the company’s productivity for the vehicle wrap and banner market, which continues to grow. Its ability to print green and orange inks offers a wider gamut of possible colours.

The JF-1361, meanwhile, offers a 1.5 x 3-m (5 x 10-ft) flatbed area and white ink capabilities. Complementing Artcal’s screenprinting division, especially for short-run jobs, it has already increased productivity.

Established in 1977, Artcal uses both screenprinting and digital printing technologies to produce a variety of decals, signs, indoor and outdoor graphics, custom acrylic displays, exhibits, posters, A-frames, trade show displays, banners, vehicle wraps, point-of-purchase (POP) displays and floor graphics. It is a member of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and an authorized manufacturer of 3M Scotchprint graphics.
