Graphic film manufacturer Avery Dennison has announced its second annual ‘Wrap Like a King’ competition, which challenges professional graphic installers to create unique colour-change car wraps.
Participants may use any of 78 opaque cast films in a variety of colours and finishes, including satin, pearlescent and chrome versions, from Avery’s ‘supreme wrapping’ line. They can upload submissions to a dedicated website, www.wraplikeaking.com, until October 12, 2014.
After all submissions are entered, seven professional judges will choose the top 32 wraps to move to next phase. Then the judges panel will choose one grand-prize winner, while car enthusiasts and fans choose another through four rounds of public voting.
The winners will be announced on October 13. Both grand prizes include a trip to the automotive industry’s Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in November.
