[1]A+A Graphics Canada, a Toronto-based commercial printing company, has installed a Jeti Mira MG 2732 high-speed (HS) ultraviolet-curing (UV-curing) light-emitting diode (LED) printer manufactured by Agfa Graphics in nearby Mississauga, Ont.

A+A’s owner, Ara Sahakian (pictured), recently decided to move the company into a new 1,394-m2 (15,000-sf) production facility, more than four times as large as its previous location. One of the main reasons was the need to better accommodate the Jeti Mira.

“It allows us to produce high-quality, full-colour, large-format prints on corrugated material, many of which are short-run jobs,” says Sahakian. “It’s ideal for backlit applications. We can do spot varnish now and even print on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).”
