Aerial marketing flies high for Super Bowl
March 12, 2018
A 1,858-m2 (20,000-sf) banner advertising Pepsi, digitally printed by Remarkable Media, was towed behind a helicopter above this year’s Super Bowl football championship game in Minneapolis, Minn.
“It dwarfed the competition,” says Ryan Osbourne, Remarkable’s co-founder and chief technology officer (CTO). “There is no ground-based advertising space available that can match our scale and reach.”
Later, Remarkable sent five planes over the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory parade route to spell out a congratulatory message, ‘Philly Dilly,’ using ‘sky typing’ above downtown Philadelphia, Penn.
