Aerogram prepares Winnipeg for winter

crop1A ‘flying billboard,’ measuring more than 186 m2 (2,000 sf), criss-crossed the sky over Winnipeg for one week in November with a well-timed advertising message, in preparation for the city’s unforgiving winter weather.

Aerogram, based in St-Hubert, Que., designed the aerial media campaign with a simple message from Winnipeg Plow, a local snow removal service provider, that could easily be read by pedestrians far below.

“This execution had an inspirational effect with its call to action for the public in the context of the snowstorm season,” says Gian Piero Ciambella, president, founder and chief pilot for Aerogram, which has operated for 30 years and is certified by Transport Canada.
