For the first time, the Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technologies (ASDPT)—part of the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA)—is allowing printing industry experts beyond its existing members to nominate candidates for induction.
Each year, ASDPT selects only a few new members based on their demonstrated abilities and contributions to the industry through education and technological advances. There are currently 54 active members from Canada, the U.S., Europe, China, India and Indonesia.
Experts may not nominate themselves, but ASDPT has opened candidacy to the entire industry. Submissions should be e-mailed to Mike Ruff, chair of ASDPT, at mruff@mikeruffconsulting.com.
