World Wide Technology (WWT), an audiovisual (AV) technology integrator with offices in Toronto and around the globe, has installed Leyard and Planar displays throughout its new 19,324-m2 (208,000-sf) headquarters (HQ) in St. Louis, Mo.

Coltrane Systems oversaw the installation, which includes a Planar Mosaic video wall, comprising 50 liquid crystal display (LCD) tiles, in the atrium; a 17 x 4-m (55 x 13-ft) Leyard TWA light-emitting diode (LED) video wall at the front of a 300-seat auditorium; six Planar UltraRes ‘4K’ LCDs built into the auditorium’s walls; and several more LCDs in the lobby, the employee café and the executive boardroom.

“We wanted our new global HQ to allow for sophisticated and dynamic collaboration among our local teams and with remote personnel,” explains Chad Bockert, WWT’s vice-president (VP) of business development and marketing. “We are also extremely pleased with the way these displays reinforce our vision using creative messaging and imagery.”
