- Montreal-based digital signage software developer X2O Media has won first place in Polycom’s first app development contest, which challenged companies and individuals to use Polycom’s RealPresence open application programming interface (API) for video conferencing in new ways. X2O developed an app that delivers on-demand and live video content to digital signage, kiosks and Internet Protocol (IP) phones.
