Big Digital, a Toronto-based audiovisual (AV) equipment rental company that caters to out-of-home (OOH) and ‘experiential’ advertising campaigns, provided a series of digital touchpoints for the first-ever Liquor Control Board of Ontario’s (LCBO) pop-up shop.
The shop was operated on Toronto’s King Street West from Sept. 22 to Dec. 31 to build awareness for urban customers aged 19 to 34 of several key product categories, including whiskies, Vintners Quality Association (VQA) Ontario wines and holiday gifts. Among the digital signage features were a ‘lift and learn’ area, where relevant information appeared on a screen whenever a product was lifted from its shelf, and a large-scale display for streaming live events.
“We are always looking for new ways to connect with customers,” says Kerri Dawson, LCBO vice-president (VP) of marketing. “With digital innovation and exclusive product offerings, we created a bespoke and immersive shopping experience.”
