BOCSI Awards: Media Resources International wins Out-of-Home (OOH) Advertising category

The Best of Canada’s Sign Industry Awards (BOCSIes) honours the top work of sign companies, related organizations, and individuals across the country.

Entries to this year’s awards program, which is jointly managed by Sign Media Canada and the Sign Association of Canada (SAC), came in from sign professionals across the country. With the judges reviewing hundreds of eligible projects, Sign Media Canada, along with SAC, is now proud to showcase the winners of the BOCSIes competition.

This year’s competition attracted many high-calibre projects, representing the best of the best from all corners of Canada’s sign industry. With final scores proving close, all entrants deserve congratulations for the outstanding quality of their work. In this regard, we are including the runners-up.

Here’s presenting:

Out-of-home Advertising 

The winner is Media Resources International for the Anti-Littering 3D Cup

Primary Materials & Methods:  The 3D cup was made from lightweight Styrofoam and hard-coated for durability. The straw, constructed from PVC pipe, was vinyl-wrapped to achieve a realistic appearance. The standout feature is the 3D cup and straw, which project a 3D view from the billboard surface. This gives the illusion of a crushed cup littering the road, effectively capturing attention and conveying an anti-littering message in a visually impactful way.
